Kenneth Robertson

Executive vice president, COO and CFO

In his role as executive vice president, CFO and COO, Ken Robertson seeks to drive impact both internally and externally. His internal focus has been modernizing operations, human resources and finance. Ken has day-to-day responsibility for operations, human resources, investment administrative, financial accounting, risk management, contract management, facilities, IT management, regulatory compliance and budgetary administration for both the Greater Milwaukee Foundation as well as its supporting organizations. Externally, Ken plays key roles in leading the Foundation’s first place-based initiative Thrive On Collaboration and the Foundation’s impact investing program. 

Seeking to drive further impact, Ken serves on several community boards, including the Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Wisconsin Philanthropy Network, Milwaukee Economic Development Corporation, Howard Fuller Colligate Academy and the University of Wisconsin Business advisory committee. 

Prior to joining the foundation, Ken served as the CFO of the country’s largest Boys & Girls Clubs and has worked in other key finance positions with Price Waterhouse LLP, GE Medical Systems, MillerCoors, Briggs & Stratton as well as the IRS. Ken graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with an accounting degree, and he was awarded an MBA from the same institution. 

Ken has been named as CFO of the year and one of Wisconsin’s most influential Black leaders.
