As the Foundation’s vice president of human resources and organizational learning, Sonja Williams provides strategic leadership in planning, organizational development, training, HR policies and practices, talent management and employee development. She also oversees internal implementation of the Foundation’s work in racial equity and inclusion.
Williams joined the Foundation in April 2015 and brings more than 17 years of HR experience, having served in both nonprofit and government sectors. She most recently served as vice president of HR at Easter Seals Southeast Wisconsin.
Sonja has a bachelor’s degree in public administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a master’s in administrative leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is a nationally certified HR professional and a member of the Society of Human Resource Management’s local chapter.
