The AIDS Fund provides an ongoing source of support for programs aimed at preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS and for care and treatment for those who have been infected. The fund supports programs in Wisconsin, primarily in the greater Milwaukee area.
Since its inception in 1988, the AIDS Fund has awarded more than $3 million for HIV/AIDS awareness, education and prevention programs to organizations throughout the state. Grants have supported needle exchange, HIV testing and counseling and support groups for LGBT youth.
