In the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, generous donors giving through the Greater Milwaukee Foundation have provided $169,000 to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund at the Greater Houston Community Foundation, with GMF granting an additional $25,000 in support. Our donors also have granted $27,000 to various organizations conducting disaster relief efforts in Texas. As people in Florida, Puerto Rico and others areas affected by Hurricanes Irma and Maria work to recover, there are additional opportunities to give.
