Benjamin N. Porter

Program officer

Benjamin N. Porter oversees the Foundation’s Health Equity grantmaking. Through this portfolio, he supports non-profits' individual, and systems change efforts in the areas of mental and physical health, medical research, and healthy birth outcomes. 

Prior to joining the Foundation as a Program Officer in 2021, Benjamin worked as a Marquette Trinity Fellow while completing his master's in political science, served in the Peace Corps and AmeriCorps, and worked for the Colorado State Public Defender’s office as a Senior Criminal Defense Investigator. He is passionate about social justice and beloved community.
