Earlier this month, nearly 700 visitors experienced the vibrancy and opportunity that ThriveOn King has to offer during the building’s first official open house. Visitors included elected officials, artists, community leaders, ThriveOn King tenants and neighbors.
This historic development was made possible through the ThriveOn Collaboration, which consists of a partnership between the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, Medical College of Wisconsin and Royal Capital.
During the open house, which was a reimagining of the ThriveOn Collaboration’s annual block party, guests enjoyed live music, heard from artists, donated blood at Versiti, toured Malaika Early Learning Center and JobsWork MKE, sampled Kinship Café’s menu, engaged with local vendors and more.
As the ThriveOn Collaboration celebrates this major milestone, it encourages Milwaukeeans to visit ThriveOn King, engage with one another and help realize the vision of an equitable, healthy and thriving Milwaukee.
