Jeannie Fenceroy

Senior program officer

Jeannie Fenceroy oversees the Foundation’s education grantmaking. Through this portfolio, she supports early childhood education providers’ individual and systems change efforts related to workforce and professional development. She also grants funds to upgrade early childhood facilities. Jeannie’s grantmaking aligns with Milwaukee Succeeds’ vision of cradle-to-career success that is centered on racial equity, community voice, and changing systems.

Jeannie has a strong background in education, with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a minor in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master’s Degree in Education from Harvard University. Before joining the Foundation in 2008, Jeannie served as an education program officer with the Oprah Winfrey Foundation, and taught Language Arts and Social Studies to middle school students.
