Michael Hoffman joined the Greater Milwaukee Foundation in 2018 as vice president of human resources and organizational learning. He leads all people functions of the organization and is responsible for creating innovative ways to engage all employees and establishing the culture, systems and training that will develop leaders and attract, recruit and retain talented employees. Hoffman previously held human resources leadership positions with Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan, Bethesda Lutheran Communities and Cardinal Stritch University. He graduated from Edgewood College with a Bachelor of Science in Management and Finance, and from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, with a master’s in business administration. He also is a graduate of the Disney Institute in Leadership and Excellence.
