Take a look: Greater Milwaukee Foundation builds relationships and celebrates with community

Summer in Wisconsin is one of the best times of the year for social events. From festivals to neighborhood gatherings, there’s so much to do and celebrate. This year, the Greater Milwaukee Foundation participated in various events as an attendee, vendor, funder and co-host. The events featured in this gallery include Juneteenth Day, Garfield Days, Silver City InterNational Festival, the ThriveOn Block Party, and the Latino Family Expo & Festival.

Each of these events presented opportunities to engage with neighbors, celebrate Milwaukee’s diverse culture and build relationships with the community. Coming together to celebrate is one of many ways the Foundation is establishing trust and opportunities for meaningful engagement.
